Walking on Water.

After a nice warm 4 week holiday in SA we were in for a big temperature shock when we got back. From plus 30° to minus 10 ° we had a nice walk on the frozen lakes near us where we always go swimming in the summer.

Well no one paid much attention to this sign. It was cold enough with a solid 15 cm ice cover over the whole lake.

Hundreds of people were out on the lakes doing all kinds of ice sports.

Long shadows, with the sun being nothing more than a light.

Even the poor ducks looked confused.

Yes it was FREEEEEEEZING !!!
